- There's something I just don't get about the UFO people:
-
- Whenever confronted with a phenomenon that has not been perfectly explained,
- why do they
- insist on believing the most incredible explanation?
-
- First of all, to believe we are alone in the universe is pretty laughable.
- Secondly, to believe that is impossible to get here from there is to believe
- that what we understand about physics is what we are limited to. Also
- laughable. So tell me, what is incredible? To believe that when in 1992,
- hundreds of sightings of a boomerang shaped object were made around the WORLD,
- and often described as having a wingspan of 600 feet (the largest wingspan of
- any plane is that of the Lockheed Galaxy which is around 220 feet), and having
- lights that appear as portholes and in many instances disappears, that it was
- mass hysteria? Swamp gas perhaps? Dozens of people describing the same thing
- from around the world, dozens of sighings in a single night that encompases an
- entire state, and the same stories time and time again, and all the witnesses
- are lying? I think some are lying to themselves. The evidence is the
- overwhelming amount of corroboration. That is undeniable.
